A Kudon individual was one of^[1] hundreds^[2] of their species who were enslaved by the Confederacy of Independent Systems and forced to work in a droid foundry on the moon Kudo III. The Separatists leaked rumors of the foundry, hoping that the Galactic Republic would destroy it and kill the Kudon in the process so that they could blame the Republic for the deaths. However, Jedi General Anakin Skywalker embarked on a mission to the droid foundry, discovering that the Kudon had been enslaved. When Skywalker destroyed the battle droids guarding the Kudon individual and several others, they were afraid of the Jedi until he used his lightsaber to cut their restraints, freeing them. Skywalker proceeded to free the other Kudon, who collected the fallen battle droids' weapons, fighting back against their enslavers.^[1]
