- "But I thought it might serve as a reminder to do the right thing, to stand up for what matters, just like you did back there with the Drengir. It's a Jedi's weapon, and someone died on Starlight Beacon using it to protect others. Respect that. Let its example guide you."
- ―Cam Lindon, to Fido Blick
A Force-sensitive individual served as a Jedi of the Jedi Order during the High Republic Era, utilizing a yellow-bladed lightsaber.[2] In 230 BBY,[1] the Jedi was present aboard the Galactic Republic space station Starlight Beacon and was killed when the station was destroyed by the Nihil pirates,[2] with it ultimately crashing into the ocean of[2] the Outer Rim[3] planet Eiram.[2]
In 228 BBY,[4] the Jedi's lightsaber was taken by the Duros Fido Blick during an expedition to Starlight Beacon's wreckage he undertook with a group of Jedi. After using the lightsaber in a battle against the Drengir—sentient carnivorous plants—Blick gave the lightsaber to Jedi Padawan Cam Lindon, who took the lightsaber's kyber crystal out and returned the saber to Blick. The Padawan then informed the Duros the lightsaber had belonged to the Jedi and of their passing while using it to protect others, noting Blick should respect the Jedi's act and let its example guide him, which the Duros promised to do.[2]
