A human[2] man[3] was a warlord in the Inner Rim. At one point, he was assassinated by the Knights of Ren.[4] Later Rey, a Force-sensitive scavenger who hailed from Jakku, saw the assassination in a Force vision.[2]
Behind the scenes
This character was portrayed by Mark Stanley in Star Wars Episode VII The Force Awakens[5] During the production, the character was known as "clan leader".[6] His role was incorrectly called a "Knight of Ren" in the movie's credits.[2]
Appearances
- Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens (First appearance) (Vision to Rey)
- Star Wars: The Force Awakens novelization (and audiobook) (Vision to Rey)
- Star Wars: The Force Awakens: A Junior Novel (Vision to Rey)
- Legacy of Vader 8 (In flashback(s))
Notes and references
- ↑ Legacy of Vader 8 establishes that the Inner Rim warlord died between the point of Kylo Ren becoming the leader of the Knights of Ren and the events of Star Wars: Episode VIII The Last Jedi. Star Wars: Timelines dates Kylo Ren becoming the Knights leader to 28 ABY, and the events of The Last Jedi to 34 ABY. Therefore, the warlord must have passed away between those two years.
