- "It has refused my polite apology after making the mistake of thinking that I could ask it to be the holoprojector for our captain, who wanted to show us the ending of his new favorite holovid Officer & Commander."
- ―TK-423 writes about an interaction with R2-Q9 regarding the captain in their logbook
An individual served as a captain in the Galactic Empire onboard the DS-2 Death Star II Mobile Battle Station[1] around 4 ABY.[2] The captain was in charge of a unit of stormtroopers on the station that included TK-293, TK-423, TK-534, and TK-848. Six days into the unit's time on the battle station, the captain intended to show them the ending of his new favorite holovid, Officer & Commander, although when TK-423 asked the astromech droid R2-Q9 to be the holoprojector for the event, the droid aggressively slandered the trooper and refused. Following the interaction, TK-423 detailed the incident in their logbook.[1]
Behind the scenes
The captain was mentioned in "Trooper Trouble," a story written by Laura Pohl and included in the 2023 anthology From a Certain Point of View: Return of the Jedi.[1]
