A Gamorrean sow was enslaved by the Zygerrian Alliance during the High Republic Era. She was sick with a disease with which she infected a human female in the Zygerrian camp. While enslaved to Zygerrian enslavers at the same camp, future Nihil Tempest Runner Lourna Dee tried to advocate for the Sow's well-being but was punished by the enslavers activating her shock collar for talking. Dee warned their captors that the Sow would get the other enslaved individuals sick, lowering their value as "merchandise" to buyers; however, her warning went unheeded and the human was infected as well.[2]

Behind the scenes

The Gamorrean sow appeared in flashbacks in the 2021 audio drama The High Republic: Tempest Runner, written by Cavan Scott and performed by a full voice cast.[2]
