A human^[2] individual was a pilot for the First Order.^[3] In 34 ABY,^[1] they served as a member of a squadron patrolling a blockade of the planet Dantooine in a TIE/fo space superiority fighter. When the Resistance-affiliated Jade Squadron, accompanied by three pilots of the station Colossus's Ace Squadron—Torra Doza, Hype Fazon, and Kazuda Xiono—attempted to bypass the blockade and escort shuttles of recruits for the Resistance off-world, the TIE pilot and their squadmates engaged the Resistance pilots.^[3]

As the makeshift squadron destroyed the rest of their company, the pilot attempted to contact Commander Pyre, requesting backup. Xiono, piloting the Fireball, shot and destroyed the pilot's starfighter, killing them. Though Jade Leader Venisa Doza's droid Torch jammed the squadron's comm units, Pyre directed the Resurgent-class Star Destroyer^[3] Thunderer's^[4] course to Dantooine due to the squadron's communications ceasing. The pilot wore the standard black uniform of First Order pilots.^[3]

Behind the scenes

The pilot first appeared in "Rebuilding the Resistance,"^[3] the seventeenth episode of the second season of the animated television series Star Wars Resistance, which aired on January 19, 2020.^[5] Their voice actor was uncredited in the episode.^[3]
