- "What are you?"
"I am an emissary of chaos." - ―Maul and the Final Occultation leader
An alien served as one of the three leaders of the Final Occultation, an anarchic dark side cult that learned of the identities of the Sith Lord Darth Sidious and his apprentice, Darth Maul.[2] Between 40 BBY and 32 BBY,[1] the alien was detained along with the two other leaders—Heldi Cerebron and Vasik Aldritch—and many other cultists and placed on a prison transport, but the group overthrew their captors and started a summoning ceremony on the vessel to open a rift to maddness while it floated in space.[2]
Sidious dispatched Maul to recapture the cultists, but once on board the ship, the apprentice killed Cerebron and Aldritch before locating the final leader, who was overseeing the remaining cultists in the ceremony. The Sith ineffectually attacked the cult leader, who took on a semi-gaseous form and caused Maul to see various visions before ordering the cultists to attack. Rather then face them all, Maul retreated and then crashed the prison ship into a ice planet to destroy the cult and bury their maddness.[2]
