At some point between 40 BBY and 32 BBY,[2] the Sith Lord Darth Sidious sent his apprentice Darth Maul to recapture worshippers of the Final Occultation cult being transported on a prison ship. Maul instead killed all the cultists on the starship and crashed the vessel into a nearby ice planet.[1]
