- "You risked your life to save seventeen Imperial engineers who were trapped after a Crimson Dawn mole sabotaged the reactor on that ship."
- ―Jyala Haydenn, to Beilert Valance
A member of the Galactic Empire was a mole for the criminal syndicate Crimson Dawn during the Imperial Era.[1] Between 3 ABY and 4 ABY,[2] the mole sabotaged the reactor of an Imperial starship, which caused seventeen Imperial engineers to be trapped aboard it. The engineers were later saved by the Imperial officer Lieutenant Beilert Valance, who suffered radiation burns that were treated at Ryleel Imperial Base on[1] the planet[3] Carida. As[1] he[4] recovered, Lieutenant[1] Jyala Haydenn[4] reminded[1] him of how he had thwarted the mole's plans by saving the Imperial engineers.[1]
