A B1 battle droid served in the droid army of the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars. It was stationed on Rugosa during a battle[2] in 22 BBY.[1]

Biography

This battle droid was sent out with a ground team to find Jedi Master Yoda. After the droid's Armored Assault Tanks were stopped by a giant tree blocking their way, they had to continue of foot. Walking through the forest, this droid discovered Yoda and referred to him as a little green life form. Another droid irritably told it that it was the Jedi they were looking for and told their companions to shoot him. Yoda escaped out of sight and this droid ordered its group to split up into squads. They were all eventually cut down by Yoda.[2]

Characteristics

Like all B1 battle droids, It stood at 1.93 meters tall.[3] It sported bone-white colored plating and was equipped with an E-5 blaster rifle.[2]

Behind the scenes

His first and only appearance was in "Ambush,"[2] the first episode of the animated television series Star Wars: The Clone Wars' first season, which originally aired on October 3, 2008. It was voiced by Matthew Wood.[4]
