"This particular sect though? They are positively nasty… academically speaking. Murderers and thieves who believe "ascending" has purged them of their mortal sins, escaping judgement in our plane of existance."
Korin Aphra[1]

A breakaway sect of the B'omarr Order of monks made up of murders and thieves believed they escaped their sins in life by "ascending," which consisted of removing their brains and placing them in B'omarr brain walkers or even non-walker equipped brain jars. The sect used an unregistered outpost on the planet Donovia and a structure on the astronomical object Javeek on the edge of Wild Space. The bounty hunter Boba Fett visited both locations while seeking revenge on the criminal Corm Vargon, who he found among the sect's members on Javeek and killed alongside many other monks.[1]
