"Don't have it." - ―Hoss to Aqualish gambler
An Ualaq Aqualish gambler resided on the desert planet Tatooine[1] in 3 ABY.[2] They had grey skin, grey hair and black eyes.[1] During 3 ABY,[2] they were playing sabacc against Hoss, a Sullustan gunslinger, at Chalmun's Spaceport Cantina. As Hoss's acquaintance Kay Vess arrived with her Merqaal companion Nix, Hoss confidently laid down his hand only to learn that the Aqualish had a better hand. Not having the money to pay the hand, the gambler drew their blaster on Hoss. After noticing Nix, they asked if he was Hoss's. Hoss then quickly grabbed Nix hoping to use him as collateral, much to Vess' outrage. This provoked Nix into biting Hoss' hand, prompting him to toss the Merqaal across the table into the Aqualish's hand. The ensuing brawl resulted in Vess being knocked out and the gambler taking Nix to Jabba's Palace to sell him to the Jabba Desilijic Tiure.[1]
Behind the scenes
The Aqualish gambler appeared in the 2024 video game, Star Wars Outlaws developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft. They are part of the games main quest "Partners".[1]
