An Alderaanian wrote the satirical song "Corellia for Corellians"[1] by around 270 BBY,[2] making fun of the planet Corellia's isolationist tendencies for a joke. Forty years after the song was written, the Corellian singer Crufeela claimed that she had written the song as part of a comeback attempt on a galactic talent show. However, it was discovered that "Corellia for Corellians" had been written by the Alderaanian, and that Crufeela's "performance" of it on the talent show had been lip-synched to a voice recording of a Naboo teenager.[1]

  2. Star Wars: Timelines dates the events of The High Republic: Midnight Horizon to 230 BBY. Midnight Horizon establishes that the scandal involving Crufeela and "Corellia for Corellians" occurred prior to the events of the novel, at which time the song was forty years old, meaning it must have been released by around 270 BBY.
