An ultrasonic scanner[1] or ultrasonic sensor was a type of sensor[2] that could detect ultrasonic vibrations.[1] Boba Fett's helmet included an ultrasonic sensor, alongside infrared and motion sensors, which gathered information that was fed directly into his MM9 mini concussion rocket launcher.[2]
