The Udine system was an uninhabited star system located in the vicinity of Keller's Void,[4] within the Inner Rim.[1] This system had a high concentration of asteroids,[4] which formed the Udine asteroid field.[3]
Pirates were known to occasionally transport these asteroids to Keller's Void in order to drag ships from hyperspace, utilizing their mass shadows.[5]
