A starship was owned by the Devaronian scoundrel Tyresius Lokai during the Cold War.[1] In 3643 BBY,[2] Lokai became a target of the Great Hunt and his ship was shot down over Tatooine by a Rodian bounty hunter named Veeboo Lunx.[3] Tyresius bribed Lunx into abandoning the Hunt and tried to escape the planet under an alias, but was pursued by another bounty hunter across the Dune Sea desert. Eventually, Lokai was cornered at his ship's landing cite, where he persuaded the Hunter into letting him live by presenting a genetically identical clone to claim his bounty. Changing his name to Gault Rennow, Lokai left on the Hunter's D5-Mantis Patrol Craft, abandoning his ship on Tatooine.[1]

Behind the scenes

Tyresius Lokai's starship appears in the video game Star Wars: The Old Republic during the Bounty Hunter class mission on Tatooine.[1]

  2. SWTOR mini STAR WARS: The Old Republic - Question ! :) - Page 3 on The Old Republic's official website (backup link) places Star Wars: The Old Republic about ten to twelve years after the signing of the Treaty of Coruscant, which is dated to 3653 BBY by Star Wars: The Old Republic Encyclopedia. The Old Republic — The Lost Suns 2 takes place ten years after the treaty, one week after the mission to Nar Shaddaa, and around the time of the SpecForce Incident. Since the mission and the incident are respectively part of Act I of the Jedi Knight and Republic Trooper's storylines, and the Trooper's Act I occurs concurrent to Act I of the Smuggler storyline, the general events of the Prologue and Act I for all classes can be assumed to occur in 3643 BBY.
