Behind the scenes

Typhojem was mentioned in canon in the 2018 reference book Star Wars: Smuggler's Guide, which was written by Daniel Wallace.[1] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, the first mention of Typhojem was in Wallace's 2012 reference book Book of Sith: Secrets from the Dark Side.[2] Typhojem was included at the recommendation of fellow author Abel G. Peña, who drew upon unpublished material by Rich Handley and Joseph Bongiorno. According to Bongiorno, Typhojem would have featured in Supernatural Encounters: The Trial and Transformation of Arhul Hextrophon, a novella that was pitched for Hyperspace on StarWars.com.[3]
