"Would you look at that? A Twi'lek singing stone… all the way from Ryloth. What are the odds we'd stumble on something like that here, now?"

Twi'lek singing stones were sacred blue crystals that originated on the Twi'lek homeworld of the planet Ryloth.[1] The singing stones were considered important relics by Twi'leks across the galaxy. Over the years, many of the stones were lost due to Ryloth's turbulent history of invasions, occupations, and civil wars. According to Twi'lek mythology, the singing stones were attuned with the vibrations of the galaxy and were believed to possess mystical powers of navigation. They were revered by the Twi'lek diaspora, who felt that the stones offered a deep, spiritual connection to Ryloth and their cultural heritage.[2]

This section of the article assumes 100% game completion of Star Wars: The Old Republic: Legacy of the Sith. Any alternate stories may be noted in the "Behind the scenes" section. The events in this section may or may not have been confirmed as canon within the Star Wars Legends continuity.

Around 3623 BBY,[3] during the Third Galactic War between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire, Vette discovered a singing stone on display at a museum in Talaos City on the planet Makeb and felt compelled to return it to her people. While attempting to steal the stone by breaking open its display case, she triggered the security system. She managed to take the stone and escape after a brief encounter with the museum security droids.[1]

Behind the scenes

Twi'lek singing stones were first introduced to the Star Wars Legends continuity in the Date Night mission for Vette in Game Update 7.5.1 of Star Wars: The Old Republic: Legacy of the Sith, released on August 20, 2024.[1] The Date Night mission is only available to male Sith Warrior characters who have an active romance with Vette after the events of Knights of the Fallen Empire.[4] Singing stones first appeared in the current Star Wars canon in the 2015 novel Dark Disciple, written by Christie Golden.[5]
