Turgus

Turgus was a dewback on the planet Tatooine^[1] in 3 ABY.^[2] He was considered a loving animal by his owner, and would lick the sweat from people's hands if allowed.^[1]

In 3 ABY,^[2] Kay Vess asked Turgus and Plapper's owner, a farmer, to move their dewbacks because they were blocking her way and her pet merqaal Nix was afraid of them. The farmer complied, and Vess and Nix passed through.^[1]

Behind the scenes

Turgus first appeared in the video game Star Wars Outlaws by Ubisoft in August 2024 in an optional quest to steal weapons from the Hutt Clan for the Ashiga Clan.^[1]
