A turbothrust was a type of engine that produced incredible speeds. Swoops were fitted with turbothrusts to allow them to reach speeds up to six hundred kilometers an hour.[1]
Turbothrusts were also used as an enhancement for landspeeders to give them an extra boost of speed. SoroSuub Corporation's XP-38 sport landspeeder was fitted with a turbothrust.[2]
