Tundan was the language spoken by the Sorcerers of Tund, a group of Sith-blooded Force users from the verdant Force nexus of Tund. Though the origins of the Sorcerers could be traced to the Kissai outcasts who interpreted the death of Sith King Adas during the 27,700 BBY invasion of Korriban[1] as a sign to reject the dark side,[2] Tundan was considered distinct from the Sith language by the time of the Great Sith War.[3]
Known speakers of the Tundan language with some degree of fluency included the Sith Offshoot Karnak Tetsu,[2] the Croke Rokur Gepta,[4] and the Sith Triumvir Darth Traya.[5] Additionally, a Tundan version of Asenec's poem "The Gleam of Kiirium" was used as the source material for the Galactic Basic Standard translation produced by Kiekal Zzoh.[6]
