The Trees were an ancient species of sentient, though non-animate plants. The myth "The Silent Circle" tells the story of how the Trees, the Fae and the Beasts once lived in harmony on Batuu.[1]

Biology and appearance

"At first there was only the water and the light. By the day the trees drank deeply of both, and by the night they grew ever taller, dominating the landscape, spreading their leaves and branches far and wide like outstretched fingers in the wind."

The trees were large trees with branches and green leaves. They grew fruits and spread through seeds.[1]
