Tradechips, sometimes spelled TradeChips, were small computer chips designed to be collected and traded by children. They often contained small holograms of a sports star or other celebrity, together with biographical information and other statistics.[1]
Spotts TradeChip Company manufactured tradechips during the final years of the Galactic Republic, including the controversial Jedi TradeChips set in 22 BBY,[1] along with a series of Smashball tradechips.[2]
