Tracker utility vests were a sleeveless vest manufactured by Ayelixe/Krongbing Textiles that could be used to carry tools on oneself. They were worn on the torso and were made from lightweight, durable textiles that were also resistant to stains and tearing. Tracker utility vests were covered in multiple pouches of varying shape, size, and purpose, and the pouches were all connected to a load-bearing system kept inside the vest's lining. The vests had a heavy-duty zipper in the front that, when closed, allowed the vest to distribute its weight evenly, allowing wearers to keep tools simultaneously within reach and out of the way. A Tracker utility vest was sold for one hundred credits.[1]
Behind the scenes
The Tracker utility vest was introduced in the Canon continuity in Gadgets and Gear, a 2019 supplement to Fantasy Flight Games' Star Wars Roleplaying series. In the game, wearing the Tracker utility vest increases the threshold for a character to become encumbered.[1] It originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity in Arms & Equipment Guide, a 2002 sourcebook for Star Wars Roleplaying Game by Wizards of the Coast.[2]
