Traal was a remote planet. At some point by[1] approximately 180 BBY,[2] the Twi'lek Jedi Master Skia Ro famously survived on Traal for two years while equipped with nothing but a towel, a fact that was known to her apprentice Christina Starspeeder.[1]

Traal was mentioned in Revenge of the Sis, the 2019 seventh entry in the Star Wars: Jedi Academy non-canon young-reader book series. The book was written by Jarrett J. Krosoczka and Amy Ignatow.[1]
