Toy Empire: The British Force Behind Star Wars Toys is a BBC documentary on the making of the first Star Wars toys by the British toy company Palitoy, based in Coalville, Leicestershire. Presented by David Whiteley, directed by Matt Wildash, and executive produced by Diana Hare, the documentary premiered on the BBC One East Midlands service.[1] The crew also made the BBC production The Galaxy Britain Built.[2]
