Tony Pope (March 22, 1947 – February 11, 2004)[1] was a voice artist who voiced many characters for The Walt Disney Company including voicing Goofy for eleven years.[3]

Pope provided additional voices for the 1993 Star Wars: Rebel Assault video game.[2] Later Pope voiced C-3PO and an A-wing pilot in the 1998 Star Wars Trilogy Arcade coin-operated video game.[4] In 1997, Pope lent their voice to portray Grand Moff Wilhuff Tarkin in the A New Hope Read-Along book and cassette tape. The audio of which was later used in the 2015 A New Hope Read-Along Storybook and CD.[5]
