The Tonena clan was one of the oldest Rodian clans on the planet Rodia. Credited with being the first manufacturers of specialized hunting weapons, it was the founder of the Tonena Munitions Corporation which employes almost all of the clan members.
The Tonena clan was one of the oldest allies of the Chattza Clan that emerged during the Rodian Clan Wars and ruled the planet. However the arrogance and supemacist mindset of the dominant clan, especially by its youngest members, created tension even with their former allies, and led to some conflicts between the Chattza and the Tonena during the Galactic Civil War.
