Tionese was a script used in the galaxy. Part of the sacred Jedi texts were written in vertical Tionese.[1]

Behind the scenes

Tionese was first mentioned in the book Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker: The Visual Dictionary. In Star Wars Legends, Tionese was the in-universe equivalent to the real-world Greek alphabet.
