- "I'm hit! My stabilizer's out!"
- ―Matchstick after his stabilizer was damaged
A thruster stabilizer was a type of stabilizer used on engines. BTL Y-wing starfighters were equipped with thruster stabilizers.[2]
History
Matchstick's engine explodes.
In 22 BBY,[3] while attempting to pass through Kaliida Nebula, Shadow Squadron pilot Matchstick's portside thruster stabilizer was damaged when his Y-wing was hit by the wing of a Neebray. When they were attacked by vulture droids,[1] Matchstick's crippled stabilizer exploded and the ship crashed into another fighter and was destroyed.[2]
