The Three Ancients were the governing figures of the Tolemite species on the Wild Space planet Tolis. After the Tolemite civilization was destroyed as a result of removing the Nameless creatures from their home, the Tolemites crafted three rods that were wielded by the Three Ancients in order to control the creatures and return them to their homeworld. In order to preserve their story, the Three Ancients constructed a repository that became their tomb. Thousands of years later, by the High Republic Era, the Three Ancients and the Tolemites were only known in legend. Jedi Knight Reath Silas and former Jedi Master Cohmac Vitus visited Tolis, where they discovered the repository and learned the Tolemites' knowledge from the deceased Three Ancients.[1]
