Thraymus Argent was a Jedi Knight who served in the Jedi Order during the Republic Era. At one point, Argent was sent to the planet Alderaan to investigate feuds and assassination attempts that thwarted House Prestor. A young Bail Prestor Organa admired Argent and aspired to be like him. At one point, when the Jedi was meditating in the Eastwind Manor, he noticed Organa peeking through the door and observing him.[1] In around 19 BBY,[2] when Organa was a Senator in the Imperial Senate, he recalled the moment of watching Argent, noting the Argent Dawn sculpture in honor of the Jedi commissioned by Organa's great-uncle for Alderaan's Eastwind Manor garden.[1]

Thraymus Argent appeared in the 2025 novel Reign of the Empire: The Mask of Fear, written by Alexander Freed as the first book of the Star Wars: Reign of the Empire trilogy.[1]

Therefore, the events of Edge of the Abyss must be set in 6 BBY, and the events of The Mask of Fear in 19 BBY.
