Thrawn's army

The title of this article is conjectural. Although this article is based on official information from the Star Wars Legends continuity, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

In 9 ABY, an army under the command of Chiss Grand Admiral Mitth'raw'nuruodo was used in the war effort to reclaim the galaxy from the New Republic. In order to revive the former Imperial Army, Thrawn used cloning cylinders located from Mount Tantiss on the planet Wayland to resupply his stormtrooper forces. Thrawn also recruited senior officers—such as General Freja Covell, General Maximilian Veers, and High Colonel Zel Johans—to command his new ground forces.

The army worked in conjunction with the fleet, and often ground forces would be deployed the take the planet. Typical symbols used by the army were Imperial walkers and stormtroopers. However, after the death of Thrawn at Bilibringi, the army slowly dissolved, remaining as holdouts, or joining Imperial warlords.
