Thought lines were a concept of individual and communal points-of-view among the Vak species. The Vaks, natives of the Unknown Regions planet Primea, considered all thought lines important when making societal decisions. Other species sometimes mocked the Vak Combine for their comparatively slow deliberative process. However, neighboring nations made sure to never kill a Vak in combat because an attack on any Vak would deprive the entire Combine of that person's thought lines and therefore be considered an attack on all Vaks.[1]
Behind the scenes
Thought lines appeared in the 2020 novel Thrawn Ascendancy: Chaos Rising, the first book of The Ascendancy Trilogy by Timothy Zahn.[1]
