Wilst Molan wore Thoadeye-style makeup.
Thoadeye-style makeup was a style of makeup[1] that originated from[2] the Thoadeye System in the Deep Core.[3] It consisted of dark lines[1] and cosmetic beadwork surrounding the wearers eye.[4] During a night[5] in 22 BBY,[6] the Human woman Wilst Molan[7] wore the makeup style to the Outlander Club,[5] a nightclub and gambling hall in the Uscru Entertainment District of[8] the planet[9] Coruscant.[8] While the makeup and her outfit were striking, it did not match the charisma of the outfit of her acquaintance Nyrat Agira, a woman who Molan vied for the unofficial title of "best-dressed Outlander patron" with.[9]
Behind the scenes
Thoadeye-style makeup first appeared in the prequel trilogy film Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones,[5] which released on May 16, 2002.[10] The makeup was first pictured before the film's release in the documentary "A Twinkle Beyond Pluto,"[11] released on July 31, 2001,[12] and first identified in the reference book Star Wars: Attack of the Clones: The Visual Dictionary,[1] written by David West Reynolds and released on April 23, 2002.[13]
The ninety-sixth issue of The Official Star Wars Fact File magazine,[9] written by Iain Lowson[14] and released on October 29, 2003,[15] provided the capitalization of the makeup, but spelled it as "thoadeye-style make-up."[9] In the article "Who's Who in the Outlander Club: It's Ladies' Night," written by Daniel Wallace and published in the seventy-fifth issue of Star Wars Insider[4] on April 6, 2004,[16] the makeup is incorrectly spelled as "thodeye style."[4]

(backup link) (screenshot) Jason Fry, co-author of The Essential Atlas, stated his intention to create homeworlds for numerous species based on context implied from their names. Given this principle, this article makes a similar basic assumption for Thoadeye-style makeup in relation to the Thoadeye system.
