Thermal vultures were a type of vulture that could be found on the planet Coruscant.[1] In 228 BBY,[2] Jedi Master Elzar Mann noticed some of the vultures flying high above Coruscant's Jedi Temple while on one of the temple's balconies with Jedi Master Yoda.[1]

Thermal vultures appeared in the 2024 novel Temptation of the Force, written by Tessa Gratton and published as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[1] Phase III.[3]
