The Crucible was an area of debris around Renpalli Station in orbit around Toshara, a moon in the Outer Rim Territories.[1] By 3 ABY,[2] the Galactic Empire has installed a communication satellite in the field.[1]
During 3 ABY,[2] Kay Vess salvaged the materials to apply a "Cobalt Streak" and a "Verdant Detail" paint schemes to a EML-850 light freighter from cargo containers left in the Crucible. During the same year, Vess also recovered two Clone Wars era recorded transmissions to an thief named Keelo from their co-conspirator.[1]
Behind the scenes
The Crucible appeared as a labeled area in the Toshara orbit map in the 2024 video game, Star Wars Outlaws which was developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft. The location contained two transmission collectibles and two cosmetic pain jobs for the Trailblazer.[1]
