The Cleaver was a game piece used in the Canto Pass game that resembled a knife. As a threat piece, it was not worth any points, but it required the player to place one of their boon pieces back onto the board.[1] By 3 ABY,[2] one such piece had been stored in a container at the Hutt market house in the spaceport city Mos Eisley on the Outer Rim desert planet Tatooine.[1]

In 3 ABY,[2] a thief named Kay Vess found the container and stole the Cleaver piece.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Cleaver Canto Pass piece appeared in the 2024 video game Star Wars Outlaws developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft. It was one of several Canto Pass pieces that could be collected in the game and used as trinkets to customize the appearance of the player's S57 Cardinal speeder bike and the interior of the Trailblazer.[1]
