Thaban was a male Human captain of the Sith Empire living during the Cold War. In 3643 BBY he was stationed in Colonel Gorik's base, the Kalarath Imperial Encampment, on Tatooine. When the Havoc Squad showed up to extract Vanto Bazren and stop Gorik's operation, Thaban evacuated along with the Colonel.[1]
Behind the scenes
Captain Thaban appears in Star Wars: The Old Republic during the Trooper class mission "Evacuation" on Tatooine only if the player takes the dark side option to pursue Gorik and leave Bazren to die. In that case, the player will confront Thaban and Gorik and kill them both, however in the Light Side option they escape and player never encounters Thaban.
