The temple of Kryger was a Jedi temple of the Jedi Order that was located on the planet Kryger during the High Republic Era. The Devaronian Jedi Master Quintana was stationed at the temple until[1] around 161 BBY,[2] when the temple was abandoned by the Jedi Order following a mudslide after an unprecedented rainy season, leaving Kryger in the midst of an environmental disaster. Quintana assisted in evacuating those who wanted to Kryger and was eventually reassigned to serve at the Jedi temple on[1] the Colonies[3] planet Hynestia.[1]
Around 160 BBY,[2] Jedi Master Vernestra Rwoh came across Quintana's former Padawan Princho and sent a message to the Devaronian on Kryger with regards from Princho, unaware of the temple's abandonment. A few months later, Rwoh visited the Hyenstian temple and told Quintana of her surprise she was at the temple there, before informing the Devaronian of her encounter with Princho and that she had tried to send a message to her at the Kryger temple, concluding Quintana must have not received it. In response, the Devaronian thanked Rwoh for informing her about her former Padawan and then told her about the temple's abandonment.[1]
