makeover
I revamped the template to look more like Template:Split, which basically serves the same purpose going in the opposite direction. A similar makeover was voted in nearly ten years ago and then bizarrely never implemented.
I'm not enamored with either that decade-old CT's proposed quote (whose accompanying image is no longer in the archive) or Husseydevin's above, so I've left out a cute photo and quote entirely. My change updates the Wikipedia link, adds a link for discussion, and wraps the whole thing in a hidable box, improving functionality; I'll leave the cosmetic parts to the more creative types.
