A telepath response unit was a component built into a B'omarr brain walker that was utilized by the monks of the B'omarr Order. The unit allowed the brain walker to react to the telepathic summons of the enlightened monks, which would then transport the monk's disembodied brain to its desired destination.[1]
Like the rest of the walker's spider-like body, the unit was colored black, and either sat atop the thorax on the six-legged model,[1] or was housed in a protrusion atop the abdomen on the four-legged model.[2]
