The Teirasans were a sentient species that originated in the Teirasa system[1] of the Mid Rim's Iskin sector.[2] During the Pius Dea Era, a period of time that lasted between approximately 12,000 BBY and 11,000 BBY, the star system was located outside the borders of the Galactic Republic. When the Republic, which at the time was under the control of the Humanocentric Pius Dea cult, launched the Twelfth Pius Dea Crusade against both the Teirasans and the Zarracines of the Zarracina system in 11,660 BBY, Republic forces advanced toward the Teirasa system.[1]
