The Tazca's Flare was a rumored ghost starship with solar sails that was said to have lost souls clinging to it trying to get back to a starport. While on Hauler's Keep[1] in 3 ABY,[2] a Mon Calamari told the story of the Tazca's Flare to fellow guests only to be called out for sharing those types of ghost stories and that they should save them for the younglings. While telling the story, a Quarren interjected who claimed to know an individual named Konal that also saw the Tazca's Flare.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Tazca's Flare was first mentioned in the "A Pirate's Fortune" expansion for the Massive Entertainment video game Star Wars Outlaws,[1] which was released on May 15, 2025.[3] It was only mentioned as part of an ambient conversation that players can overhear while on Hauler's Keep.[1]
