Tax collectors were individuals responsible for collecting taxes. The corrupt Gotal tax collector Feltipern Trevagg[1] was mostly active in the Mos Eisley district of the planet Tatooine and informed his allies in the Galactic Empire that he had encountered Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi in a cantina in the spaceport[2] in 0 BBY.[3]
