All such items were believed to contain inherent dark side power and could have been sold for thousands of credits to collectors in civilized space.

It was never confirmed whether there had been any connection between the chapbooks and the Taurannik Codex, but even if there had been one, it was difficult to say whether the word «Taurannix» had not simply been a misspelling of «Taurannik».
