Tatrang III was a poisonous jungle planet with three moons that was located within the Tatrang system,[3] a part of the Outer Rim Territories' Tammuz sector.[1] It occupied the third closest orbit around the system's star, the red giant Tatrang. The planet was uninhabitable and considered to be commercially worthless.[3]
Behind the scenes
Tatrang III was first mentioned in the 1992 sourcebook Planets of the Galaxy, Volume Two, which was written by John Terra for West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[3] The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas placed the Tatrang system, and therefore Tatrang III, in grid square U-14.[4]
