Tatooine mynocks were a subspecies of mynock native to the planet Tatooine. They were considered a pest and could be aggressive.[1]
Around the time of the Battle of Yavin, Luke Skywalker was attacked by Tatooine mynocks in the deserts of Tatooine.[2] Later, the Human Pfilbee Jhorn commissioned an Imperial-aligned spacer to eradicate the pests near Bestine. In return, he rewarded the spacer with a number of credits.[1] Around the same time, W. Wald also hired spacers to deal with large Tatooine mynocks eating power cables in Watto's junkyard in Mos Espa.[3]
Behind the scenes
Tatooine mynocks appeared in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts,[1] prior to its closure on December 15, 2011.[4]
