Task Force Xodlak was a task force that consisted of the frigate Midsummer and the Xodlak cruiser Apogee from the planetary defense fleet used by the Xodlak family of the Chiss Ascendancy. Task Force Xodlak was brought into service when Councilor Lakuviv, posing as Patriel Lakooni, declared a family emergency. When the emergency was declared, Xodlak officers and warriors from the Chiss Expansionary Defense Fleet gathered above Celwis to join the Task Force. Senior Captain Irizi'in'daro, normally stationed aboard the Chiss heavy cruiser Grayshrike, was placed in command of the Task Force. Task Force Xodlak was present for a skirmish above Hoxim, the culmination of a plot to destroy the Chiss Ascendancy.[1]
