Task Force Bravo

Task Force Bravo was a mercenary unit that operated on the planet Kashyyyk during the Galactic Civil War.

History

"Kashyyyk has a problem. And that problem is that the natives don't seem to understand their defined role. That is why I am here. I am putting together a task force to wipe out that resistance. If you are interested I will swear you in right now and get you on the path of fortune and glory."

After the Battle of Yavin, the Imperial High Command was tired of losing valuable soldiers in trying to squelch the Wookiee resistance on Kashyyyk. Around 1 ABY,^[2] the Galactic Empire hired Colonel Gurnst to assemble a mercenary troop in order to wipe out the Wookiee resistance. Stationed in Kachirho, Colonel Gurnst formed Task Force Bravo and recruited many intrepid spacers visiting Kashyyyk to join the fight against the Wookiees. The mercenaries therefore attacked a Wookiee camp near the Bolotaur Beach and killed more than 15 Wookiee freedom fighters.^[1]

Therefore, the events of Star Wars Galaxies must span from 0 ABY to around 1 ABY.
